I had a wonderful summer vacation in the past two weeks, since I went to Kingston
with my husband. We were very excited, because we had looked forward to
going there for a long time.
After we drove two and a half hours to get there, I was shocked by the beautiful
view. My husband told me Kingston was built in 1673 year, and it was the capital
of the United Province of Canada from 1841 to 1844. In this city, I saw many 19
century imposing limestone building, and the Fort Henry, the biggest fort in
Ontario, is famous for the Sunset Ceremonies.
I like Kingston, not only it is a old city, but also it is full of vigour. Every
long weekend there will be a track and field events. Lots of adult and youth
people participating in the race, in the cheering from audience. Many people play
sailing boat or motor ship on the Ontario Lake.
We stayed in Kingston for only two days, but this city gave me a very pleasure
memory. I think I would like to have another trip to here one day.
